“Celebrate the value of volunteering—building confidence, competence, connections and community” is this year’s theme for National Volunteer Week, which speaks directly to what The Ride to conquer cancer is all about.
Volunteers contribute their time, skills and creativity to bring The Ride to Conquer Cancer to life. Volunteers help us to produce the powerful Opening Ceremonies in Cloverdale, build our Main Campsite in Chilliwack and manage the busy Finish Line in Hope. Volunteering is a great way to make a difference.
Our invaluable Crew Members and Volunteers man the Pit Stops, keep Camp running smoothly and provide around-the-clock encouragement to all of our participants. Because of their tireless work, The Ride truly is an event that fosters confidence and competence in every man and woman who takes on our cycling journey and deepens the connections and community of our epic Ridership.
